Academic Appointment: Professor of Neurosurgery (with tenure), Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Vice-Chairman for Research and Program Development. Previous professorships at the Cleveland Clinic, Yale University and University of Colorado.

Research Interests: Vascular biology, genetics and outcomes science in neurovascular disease and stroke

Publications: 250 papers and chapters; eleven books; 350 major scientific presentations and invited lectureships
