Dr. Bendok graduated from the Feinberg
School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical
training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a focus
on microsurgery for neurovascular diseases. He received
the AANS/CNS Mullan Neuroendovascular Surgery Fellowship
Award and completed a neuroendovascular surgery
fellowship at the State University of New York at
Buffalo. He is a member of the Neurovascular Surgery
Program and co-director of the Neuroendovascular Program
at Northwestern. Dr. Bendok’s practice focuses on
microsurgical, endovascular, and interventional
treatment of diseases of the brain and spine. His
medical society memberships include the American
Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of
Neurological Surgeons, the Executive Council of the AANS/CNS
Joint Section on Cerebrovascular Surgery, the American
Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology,
the Neurocritical Care Society, the American Society of
Neuroradiology, and the Society of Endovascular
Neurosurgeons
