Dear fellow ALMA members,
We had our first meeting of the 2006 year on March 11. We had around 20 attendees. Thank you Dr. Charles Farra for speaking about breast cancer, which incited good discussion among the group. Also elections were held. Thank you for re-electing me as your president for this year. Our new Vice President is Dr.George Farah and our treasurer is Mrs. Nadia Yammine. We will work hard for a successful year in which ALMA's name can continue to be known in the community through education, outreach, and hopefully a health fair.
We will be planning another meeting in May/June --- more details to follow.
Our latest national event was successful in Las Vegas and more info on the website. Look at our updated website for pictures from the event and future events. (www.almamater.org). Special thanks to our Chicago members who attended the event to encourage our club.

Auxilia Annual Gala Fundraiser Dinner ? May 5 at 7:30 PM at Carlisle Banquet at 435 E. Butterfield Rd. Lombard, IL 60148. RSVP by April 28. Cost is $60/person and children under 13 $20.
