We are pleased to announce the success of The 14th International American Lebanese Medical Association Congress Hosted by the American University of Beirut Medical Center “Vascular Health and Medicine” on June 20-21, 2014.
Close to 200 people attended and 10 pharmaceutical companies sponsored the events.Speakers from the US and Lebanon shared the most recent updates of their various fields in medicine.
Five scholarship certificates and checks were awarded to students from the different medical schools in Lebanon to help them with their tuition fees.They were chosen from the dean of their respective schools based on their competency and financial needs.
These are the Lebanese medical students who were awarded a scholarship this year

University of Balamand: Mr. Sami Shoucair
Lebanese American University: Ms. Jinia Feghali
American University of Beirut Medical Center: Mr. Adham Abou Ali
University of St Joseph: Mr. Ibrahim Saliba
ALMA also offered a Lifetime achievement award to Dr. Ibrahim Daher for his outstanding contributions to the field of surgery and cardiovascular diseases at AUB and worldwide.
