Dear ALMA members and friends

 

I just spent a wonderful weekend in Houston at and about the medical center. It is by far the largest medical center in the world, St lukes, Methodist, Texas medical, Children's, MD Anderson etc.. in a one mile radius.

 

Dr Salem was at his best and most hospitable. He had assembled a group of fine Doctors At his plush office (Lebanese decor and memorabilia) to form a steering committee for ALMA in Houston Elected:

George Nassar M.D. Committee Member (a relative of mine thru Dr. Fadi Habib)

Cynthia Yazbeck M.D. Committee Member

Victor Yazbeck M.D Committee Member

 

Drs Philip Salem, Dr Eid and Dr Choueiri and Dr Kantara will be assisting in committee needs.

After the lengthy working meeting Dr Salem treated all to a feast of a luncheon at Cafe LiLi.I highly recommend to all who visit Houston.

 

The night Was spent courtesy of Dr Pierre Khoury, and Fadia, Johny and Liliane Haddad where we dined and danced the night away in the company of some beautiful Lebanese people and his partners, Samer Suki M.D. and Housam Alkadour M.D. and wives who are looking forward to active participation in all activities of ALMA, they are very excited about the trip to Napa and the wine tasting tours we have planned in September 06.The entertainment was by Tony Kiwan and Nisreen on a tour from Lebanon.

 

All in all this weekend was very enjoyable and productive to ALMA.
 

All were asking what happened to Boston. Reviving the Boston Chapter is in the Hands of  Drs Joe Jabre, Gisele Saliba and our contact Nabil Fegali.
