Dear fellow Alma members 

I am Glad to inform you that we have just signed an agreement with the Riviera Hotel on the Las Vegas strip for February 24, 25 and 26 of 2006 for our Spring Meeting.  For those in the Midwest and on the East Coast this should be a good relief at a good time from the cold weather  and hopefully an enjoyable time for all.

The title of this meeting would be [ Be Good To Your Heart and Sweet heart ].

Attendees will be given 8 CME hours on preventive medicine i.e.

  • Prevention of heart disease

  • Prevention or glaucoma

  • Prevention of stomach cancer

  • Prevention of diabetic complications and neuropathies

  • Prevention of osteoporosis & many others preventive measures.

All talks will be given by internationally renowned academic professors. Attendance at the meeting is open for all doctors and all late people at no additional cost. 

The total cost per couple is $695.00 for two nights stay,
 

Friday [Feb 24-2006] Evening

 Reception Drink and appetizers,

Saturday [Feb 25-2006] Morning  Medical meeting, coffee and cookies during the meeting
  Evening Banquet style dinner with filé and shrimp salad dessert red and white wine included.
    Dinner will be followed by a Las Vegas style folie berger show called SPLASH (Costs Included in your package for two).

At the banquet we will honor Dr Michael Debakey as (Physician of The Century) and Dr Philip Salem as (ALMA Scientific Award)

Registration costs :

Total cost per couple including all above (Excluding CME Cert.) $695

Single registrant's with room, reception, meeting, show and dinner :

 $595
Banquet tickets only / person $150

CME certificates costs are not included in this total; They will be issued by a separate agency paid at the meeting or included in your combined payment

Anybody desiring a suite is available at additional cost.

Reservations are on a first-come first-served basis.  Please note we have limited the Rooms at this price and I recommend that you send your reservations and your checks as soon as possible to the main ALMA office at

 6302 Princeville Circle Huntington Beach CA 92648.

We are still  seeking some speakers of the caliber mentioned above, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any suggestions.

Please pass this e-mail on to all of our fellow physicians that you know off and have the e-mail and pass it to your local chapters to assure  a place at the hotel for that rate.  Banquet seating is also limited to 480 people.

All new physicians that wish to become members of ALMA will be admitted at $50 per physician from this point forward till midday of the meeting registration in Las Vegas. membership fees for 2006 with remain to be $100. (Early membership fees for 2006 for physicians who register before December 15 are 50 Dollars.

I am looking forward to seeing and meeting you all in Las Vegas for an enjoyable time. Great camaraderie, good shows and educational matters.
