ALMA Los Angeles Chapter

Dear fellow members,

During this last year, we have done few activities including two health fairs in the Los Angeles area. (see pictures in photo Gallery)

The first one was at Our Lady of Mount Lebanon Maronite Church where several physicians participated in the event. It included blood pressure check, diabetes and cholesterol screening, glaucoma and vision screening. It was well received by the community, and well appreciated.

The second one was at the Mosque Al Farouq in Orange County. We basically performed the same testing.

We are planning on doing more health screening events after we return from the convention in Lebanon.
